Yes, there are certain weak, accepted preservatives, such as 1, 2-2-hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, and Caprylhydroxamic Acid, which are used in the formula.
Are natural skincare products better for skin?
Natural ingredients are softer, more tolerable, and less prone to irritation, particularly in sensitive and inflammatory skin.
What are AHA and BHAs? Can I use an AHA and BHA product every day?
AHAs (glycolic, lactic acids) shed off the surface, BHAs (salicylic acid) enter the pores. A recommended gradual introduction is used daily. GreenMySkin mentions AHA products.
Is your packaging recyclable with the household collection?
GreenMySkin is packaged in recyclable containers, yes. They have recyclable symbols and language of Recyclable Packaging on their product pages.
Do you currently offer refill options to reduce the amount of plastic?
I did not see any reference to refill options on their website. None of the refills are to be done to decrease plastic. (As of now.)
Do you use any plastic microbeads in your scrubs?
No. GreenMySkin effectively advertises as chemical-free, natural, and free of microplastics/plastic microbeads.
Are you a cruelty-free brand?
Yes, they state they are cruelty-free.
Do you have any vegan and vegetarian products?
Yes, many products are vegan. The site labels some as “Vegan & Cruelty Free.”
Are your products certified organic?
Some are. Their certified products are of COSMOS-Natural and COSMOS-Organic.
Are your products alcohol free?
Others are (e.g., fragrance-free, sensitive skin moisturisers), and they state it clearly, no harsh chemicals, alcohol, or artificial fragrances in them.
